Mission Tour

This week has been really good, we got a new investigator Greg. He literally works in our back yard, because the people upstairs are doing some remodeling. He wanted to know the difference between our beliefs and his, so we taught him the restoration, and then challenged him to read the Book of Mormon. He came down stairs and knocks on our door five minutes later, going oh! this is so cool, I didn’t know this. We were able to finally meet with the Woodys again, and they are still struggling in so many ways. We are trying to be very careful with them because the last missionary’s drove them away because they were to pushy.

Did some yard work for sister Hartwell on Saturday morning, which was nice to get out and do something. Friday we had a mission tour, Elder Scott G Grow of the seventy came and toured the mission. We went down to Cheyenne Thursday night because it’s a 5 hour drive there. Elder Grow spoke to us from 10 in the morning till 5 that night. We talked a lot about how to best help the people we teach, and make sure that they understand that repentance is key to everything. And also a new way of planning, which I would explain but that would take a while. The spirit was really strong when he was sharing his testimony with us, he is truly a representative of Jesus Christ and I felt it on Friday.

20 Yea, even he commanded them that they should preach nothing save it were repentance and faith on the Lord, who had redeemed his people. (Mosiah 18).

This sums up what we were told to do. God is always reaching out to help us but we have to expect His help and do what He asks

This was my bed on Thursday night.
