Some People to Teach

This week, we spent most of our time tracting a few hours a day because we had no one to teach. We were able to find 3 new people, plus James from last week. Over all it was a good week, even though 2 of our potential’s who said come back were not home. One of the people we met i would tell you her name if I could spell it, she is very nice and she is a firefighter for Lander. She seems really interested in learning more. We saw James again this week and had a good lesson with him, he didn’t read at all this last week so we read with him to help him see the importance of reading the Book of Mormon for yourself to know if it is true. We also taught Tarins and Rondel while they were working on their car. Tarins seemed to be more interested than Rondel. When we came back a few days later we didn’t see Rondel. Tarins is very quiet so it’s hard to tell how serous he is about learning more and about keeping he commitments but we love him. I do have to say most people are very nice here and they are very nice about telling us that they are not interested.

We also had zone meeting this week, and for us that is an all day event. We have to drive to Riverton which is about a half hour away then get on a van with 8 other missionary’s and travel 2 hours to Casper. Zone meeting was really good, talked a lot about Easter and a new video the church came out with about Easter and the importance of Jesus Christ and the atonement and how through him we can return to live with Heavenly Father. As we were walking home from tracting to go have dinner because we didn’t have a dinner appointment and someone from the other ward stopped and asked if we had a dinner and we told him we didn’t, so he took us to his house and feed us. Life is good.
