Warmer Weather!

I am down in Colorado in the Coal creek ward, which is in Erie Colorado. Plus it’s one of the smallest wards and people are a lot more well off. my companion is Elder Sodenkamp, who is from
California. He will be going home after this next transfer.

Monday, we did not get much done because I was packing for most of the day.

Tuesday was mostly traveling but I did get to say goodbye to grandma before I left. Had no dinner when I got here, so I finally got to go to a chick-fil-a.

Wednesday, the work is really slow in this area so we spent most of the day just trying to find people. But we did have a lesson with Kyle, he is very nice and likes to do a lot of service for other people. He has been meeting with the missionary’s for a long time, and his only stumbling block is knowing that the Book of Mormon is true for himself.

Thursday we had a lesson with Lee, he is a less active who found us and wanted to meet again. A lot of his family plays in the NFL, he is super nice but he likes to talk a lot, so we didn’t get to teach him to much.

Friday we had the ward Christmas party. It was a lot of fun but I did not know anyone. It was nice to get to meet the members and to figure out what we need the do.

Saturday we had a zone dinner at the stake presidents house, also it was nice to get to know all the other Elders in the zone because I don’t know most of them. Sunday was a good day, this ward is much bigger then my last one. Got a whole bunch of people we can visit now.
